Jumbo, the animated feature from Visinema, has officially become the highest-grossing local animation in Indonesian history. But behind its success lies a well-oiled promotional effort—and Gushcloud Indonesia played a central role in getting the word out.

As part of its commitment to championing homegrown content, Gushcloud joined forces with Visinema to support Jumbo's marketing campaign. The collaboration featured a multi-channel push, including digital activations, influencer engagement, and even a company-wide cinema outing.

Surpassing six million viewers since its release during Eid 2025, the film offers more than just dazzling visuals—it delivers a heartwarming story about childhood, friendship, and family that's struck a chord with audiences across the country.

To create early buzz, Gushcloud activated six influencers for the Gala Premiere – Family Day Out, held on 16 March 2025. Among them: Amel Carla, Tiara Dalimunthe, Ricko Ramli, Aldi Bemby, Fadyah Syifa, and Yogi Saputra—all hosted by Gushcloud and its talent arm, Fast Fluence.

"I'm so proud — finally got to watch a local animated film that's absolutely brilliant!" said Carla in a statement seen by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE. Other influencers echoed the same sentiment. "Felt like I wanted to freeze time and stay in that childhood moment a bit longer," said Dalimunthe. Meanwhile, Syifa and Saputra both reflected on emotional memories—of a late father and childhood friends.

To extend the campaign, Gushcloud organised a special screening with Abe Cekut, a beloved child influencer. It was his first time at a cinema, joined by classmates, teachers, and family at XXI Malang—a moment captured in a video.

Internally, Gushcloud also hosted a team screening at Senayan City in Jakarta. Employees brought children, parents, and loved ones to share in the moment. For Gushcloud, its support for Jumbo fits into a broader ambition: to spotlight and elevate Indonesia's creative industry, especially in animation and family content.

"We're glad to have played a part. Hopefully, Jumbo can mark a positive turning point for the growth of animated films in Indonesia. And perhaps this can also spark a revival of children's songs—ones that kids everywhere will sing again, like Selalu Ada di Nadimu by Laleilmanino, the film's soundtrack," said Dicky Ahmad Ghiffari, corporate communication executive at Gushcloud Indonesia.

Jumbo narrates the adventures of Don, a spirited young boy embarking on a journey of self-discovery. The film is the brainchild of director Ryan Adriandhy and was brought to life over five years by a dedicated team of more than 420 Indonesian creators.

Building on its domestic success, Jumbo is set to screen internationally across Asia and Europe, marking a new milestone for Indonesian animation. Visinema has also partnered with InJourney and the ministry of creative economy to promote Jumbo, integrating local intellectual property into the nation's most prominent tourism landmarks.

Gushcloud International is a tech-powered global talent and media company with operations in 11 countries. The group continues to connect brands and audiences through influencer marketing, media production, and the co-creation of original IP.
