GOODSTUPH Indonesia bags 2 social media wins

Bosch Power Tools and automotive company MG Eurokars have both appointed GOODSTUPH Indonesia as their social media agency. Over the course of the next year, the agency will take over social media duties for both brands, including account management, content ideation and development, and community management.

The win for MG Eurokars’ social media account also further establishes the agency’s presence in the automotive space. GOODSTUPH also has a client portfolio that also includes BMW Eurokars, as well as KoinWorks and Big Pool.

In a statement to Marketing Interactive, Joshua Tan, general manager at GOODSTUPH Indonesia, said the Bosch Power Tools account came by way of recommendation from another client, Bosch Home Appliances, whom the agency has worked with on a project basis before. The agency was invited to pitch in March, appointed in June, and took over in July. Meanwhile, GOODSTUPH also bagged the MG Eurokars account following a pitch that was called in April and concluded in May.

Rizky Fauzi, marketing manager at MG Eurokars, said he hopes to always provide an enjoyable experience for the customers, whether in its showrooms or through digital platforms. “Together with GOODSTUPH Indonesia, we believe that we are able to give our customers the authentic MG experience through our online presence,” he added.

Gerry Begani, brand manager at Bosch Power Tools, said: “Our business literally deals with brick and mortar. GOODSTUPH took the time to understand the ins-and-outs of business and our unique needs. We are looking forward to great work from the team.”

Meanwhile, GOODSTUPH's Tan said the team is looking forward to grow both MG Eurokars and Bosch Power Tools. “It’s extremely humbling to have clients trust you in the midst of the most challenging economic crisis that we are facing," he added.

Singapore agency GOODSTUPH expanded into Indonesia in 2017. Pat Law, founder of GOODSTUPH, said then that Indonesia was chosen as it has the world’s fourth largest middle class with 17.3 million households. "By size alone, there is so much we can do and learn from the market," Law said.

Last month, GOODSTUPH also hired creative veterans Fajar Kurnia and Jeremy Chia as business partners to aid in GOODSTUPH’s regional expansion plans into Bangkok, Thailand. GOODSTUPH Thailand currently has a 10-man team, and count Netflix Asia and Hewlett Packard (Southeast Asia and Korea) among its clients.

Earlier this year in January, GOODSTUPH Indonesia was in involved in KoinWorks' campaign which draws inspiration from its users and commemorates the milestones in their financial growth. The campaign featured witty ads that read, "Hey deposits, when will you reach my height? I'm already 18% but you are just 6" and "To our investor who has gotten returns of 31%. Are you still single?", and "This ad is made for our oldest user at age 60. You're awesome sir!" among others.
