FINNS Bali, the hospitality group behind the world-famous FINNS Beach Club, has unveiled a milestone initiative pairing its entertainment-first brand with bold ESG moves - including Bali’s first search and rescue helicopter and a beach-cleaning robot.
The group launched its inaugural FINNS Future Nation Day at FINNS Beach Club in Canggu - a one-day event themed as a journey through “check-in, boarding, layovers, landing and departure” - with each stage highlighting different areas of the company’s past, present and future ESG commitments.
At the centre of the event were two exclusive announcements underscoring FINNS Bali’s push into environmental innovation and community safety.

The first was Bali’s first dedicated search and rescue helicopter, developed in partnership with SGI, an accredited leader in air medical transfers and rescue operations. The initiative is expected to significantly improve emergency response capabilities for residents and visitors alike across the island and surrounding regions.
The second was the introduction of the BeBot beach-cleaning robot, a fully electric, remote-controlled innovation designed to remove microplastics and debris without disturbing the natural environment.
Both initiatives mark a first for Bali, and they reflect the company’s belief that world-class hospitality cannot be separated from environmental responsibility and community care, FINNS said.
Beyond new innovations, FINNS Future Nation Day spotlighted the group’s broader ESG progress. This included diverting 488,140 kilogrammes of waste from landfills, recycling 82.3 million litres of water, and expanding youth and cultural programmes that have delivered over 12,000 essential items to communities in need. More than 1,000 staff and 1,000 children and youth across Bali have already been directly impacted by these efforts.
FINNS said its focus on responsible innovation includes smart technology, infrastructure investments, and partnerships that reinforce Bali’s environmental and tourism resilience.
Founded in 2010, FINNS operates a portfolio that includes FINNS Beach Club, FINNS Recreation Club, and the FINNS Bali Resort set to open in 2026. The company is positioning its latest ESG agenda as integral to this growth strategy - aiming to show that lifestyle-driven destinations can also lead on resilience, sustainability, and community stewardship.
