EternityX Marketing Technology has bolstered its leadership with new appointments across Malaysia, Thailand, Guangzhou, and Shanghai, as part of its wider strategy to drive cross-border growth and scale its China-focused precision marketing capabilities.
The company said the new hires are aimed at strengthening its market expertise and operational agility across Southeast Asia and China, regions it considers key commercial hubs for brands looking to engage Chinese consumers both locally and abroad.
The expansion also reflects EternityX’s commitment to a market-led growth model, aligning with broader shifts in digital engagement, cross-border mobility, and tourism-led retail recovery. The appointments come as more brands seek culturally attuned, data-driven marketing strategies to connect with Chinese audiences across platforms and borders.

In Malaysia, Meera Thuraivel has been named managing director. With over two decades of industry experience, Thuraivel previously built Aleph’s Malaysian operations from the ground up into a 14-member team, securing partnerships with platforms such as X and leading campaigns across sectors including luxury beauty, fashion, automotive, personal care, entertainment, and jewellery.
A founding member of the Malaysia Digital Association, Thuraivel now leads EternityX’s efforts to engage Malaysia’s influential Chinese diaspora and investor community through AI-powered marketing solutions.
Supporting the Malaysia office, Thresa Thian has been appointed executive director, while Valerie Tan takes on the role of senior client growth manager.
In Thailand, Chalida Raksanaves joins as business development director, with Nitiwat Jiraphatthasiri stepping in as senior business development manager.
EternityX has also expanded leadership in China, with Simon Zhong appointed head of insights and product innovation in Guangzhou, and Celine Chen named deputy general manager in Shanghai.
In conversations with A+M, a spokesperson for EternityX noted that all new hires will be reporting to Deric Wong, chief business officer, global.
“Malaysia is uniquely positioned for cross-border commerce. The Chinese tourist surge, projected to reach five million by 2025, demands culturally nuanced, AI-powered campaigns. EternityX is primed to deliver that value,” Thuraivel said.
Speaking on the new appointments, Wong said, "I’m thrilled to welcome Thuraivel and Zhong to the EternityX leadership team, they bring the strategic depth and operational excellence we need to unlock new growth across SEA and China. We’re not just opening doors for global brands to reach Chinese audiences, we’re already walking them through, with strategy, speed, and results."
The new hires follow EternityX's recent appointment of Wong to accelerate its global expansion across APAC, Europe, and the Middle East. As its chief business officer, global (CBO), Wong is responsible for overseeing business strategy, partnerships, and performance, aligning corporate objectives with a sustainable growth approach.
