Epson Southeast Asia picks LEWIS for social media duties

Japanese electronics company Epson has appointed LEWIS as the regional social media agency covering the Southeast Asia markets. As the incumbent social media agency for Epson Singapore, LEWIS’ remit will be extended to include content creation, management and optimisation of Epson’s Southeast Asia social media platforms.

In addition, LEWIS will also spearhead regional campaigns and activities to drive a consistent brand identity and voice for Epson on its Southeast Asia social media platforms. Epson has a presence in Southeast Asia spanning over 35 years.

Alvin Tan, regional director, marketing and supply chain support division for Epson said  the Southeast Asia region has growth potential, and is crucial that Epson finds the right partner to help communicate its innovations in inkjet, visual communications, wearables and robotics. He added that the results delivered by LEWIS are testament to its integrated digital and social expertise and that the agency demonstrated strategic thinking and ability in executing regional social activities and campaign with local relevance and appropriate cultural nuances.

Fairil Yeo, VP for transformation, LEWIS APAC said having a strong regional social media presence is key for global brands looking to stay relevant and competitive in the local markets they operate in. “We are very honoured to have this opportunity to represent Epson not just in Singapore, but also regionally. We are confident that this will prove to be a pivotal step in our partnership to elevate  the Epson brand and drive growth in the region,” he added.
