Entropia Blanc appoints John Dorai as head of creative

Entropia Blanc has appointed John Dorai as head of creative to deliver innovative marketing solutions and apply strategic thinking to elevate creative output for Entropia’s clients. He (pictured) brings two decades of creative experience with a hybrid profile of art and copy. Before joining Entropia, Dorai was also the ECD at ADK Malaysia and creative director at Hakuhodo Malaysia. He also worked at Y&R Malaysia for more than two years, according to his LinkedIn. 

Dorai said he was attracted to Entropia’s digital core, which was "a perfect blank canvas to infuse with artistic ideas". "It is a privilege to join an agency constantly pushing the boundaries of innovative experiences for all the brands under their watch," he added.

Meanwhile, Entropia's partner Neeraj Gulati added that with his intuitive skills and vast exposure in the creative arena, Dorai brings to its clients a blend of creativity and strategic thinking, delivering an integrated and complete fusion of content married to native platforms.

"He has worked on a wide variety of brands in his previous stints, has won several accolades for his work and is perfectly placed with over two decades of experience to deliver that awe-inspiring creative solution for our clients," Gulati said. Entropia Blanc came about when the agency diversified its offerings into three different entities in 2017: Entropia Blanc, Entropia Noir and Entropia Rouge. Entropia Blanc was set up to cater to clients which own a majority share of the market. The agency focuses on expanding the category, creating new usage and staying a step ahead of the competition.

Separately, Entropia was crowned Overall Agency of the Year at A+M's Agency of the Year 2020, bagging swept seven gold and three silver trophies. At the same time, Noir by Entropia was also named Overall Media Usage MARKie at A+M's MARKies 2020, walking away with three gold, one silver and one bronze trophies.
