Lifestyle brand dUCk is introducing its latest Raya collection, "The Nisa dUCk". The collection is inspired by the spirit of Nisa, which means 'woman' in Arabic, and is a tribute to the multifaceted beauty and empowerment of women around the world.

According to a release, dUCk realises how Islam puts women on a pedestal, protects and even asks for gifts to be given to them.

Through "The Nisa dUCk", the brand aims to champion the first Muslim woman, Saidatina Khadijah RA, who was a successful businesswoman and devoted wife to Prophet Muhammad SAW.

"The Nisa dUCk" collection features scarves, ready-to-wear and bags. Its designs are inspired by the borders of The Quran and the scarves are named after female icons in Islam.

"The Nisa dUCk" collection will be released in three drops, each on different dates: 14 March, 19 March and 25 March. This, according to the brand, offers customers the opportunity to explore the collection in stages and anticipate new arrivals.

To complement the launch of the new collection, dUCk has curated a series of marketing activations focusing on fostering connection, spiritual growth and celebrate.

One such activation includes a dUCk Ramadan staycation at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Kuala Lumpur happening from 29 to 31 March.

It will feature International Islamic speaker Sheikh Wael Ibrahim who will offer attendees a unique opportunity to engage in insightful workshops and sessions aimed at deepening spiritual understanding and communal bonds.

In tandem, the "dUCk & Friends Raya" event is set to make its debut in Singapore at Wisma Geylang Serai on 23 and 24 March. The event promises a festive showcase of the dUCk Raya 2024 collection alongside a curated selection of Singaporean and Malaysian brands in a bazaar.

Other participating brands include Nelissa Hilman, Ben & Chinta, Machino and GULA. The two-day event aims to bring together the vibrant communities of Singapore in a festive celebration of fashion, culture and camaraderie.

On top of that, dUCk will also be presenting "Sahur Bites", a daily one-minute Instagram series hosted by religious teacher Liyana Musfirah. The series aims to provide reflections and discussions on Ramadan.

dUCk will also be partnering with key Klang Valley Malls to sponsor an array of dUCk prayer wear in each of the malls' prayer rooms throughout Ramadan for public use.

These Ramadan collections and activations come after the brand's Barbie collection. The lifestyle brand collaborated with the Barbie movie to produce a line of fashion items.

It was also the first collaboration a local brand has done with Barbie in the country, according to a statement by the company at the time.

Commenting on the collaboration last year, Vivy Yusof, co-founder of dUCk group said:

“Beyond a collection of cool, fashionable items, the movie’s storyline of Barbie going out [into] the real world resonates with our customers and dUCkies. The journey of overcoming fear, finding strength in hardship, and moving on with courage and confidence speak of the values dUCk [holds] on to, and we hope to share that positivity and support with our customers,” Yusof added.
