Starbucks Malaysia and The dUCk Group have collaborated for a limited-edition designer merchandise collection comprising drinkware and lifestyle accessories to celebrate the go-getters and purveyors of an active lifestyle.

Inspired by nature and optimism, the collection includes scarves designed with Starbucks appeal, a foldable tote bag, a thermos and an exclusive Starbucks card. The items all come in dUCk's signature purple shade and are available for a limited time in Malaysia and Brunei. The card, however, is only available in Malaysia. Both parties will also launch a cold cup and a tumbler next month. DUCk declined to comment on A+M's queries about the partnership. A+M has reached out to Starbucks for comment.

“As Starbucks continues to provide an international platform in inclusivity and belonging, we are delighted to partner with dUCk, a female-led business that made its start in Malaysia and has since become an icon of hijabista fashion. The dUCk + Starbucks line captures the essence to leave a positive legacy on the world, and we’re excited to offer our customers that opportunity with this collection,” Sydney Quays, group CEO of Berjaya Food and managing director of Starbucks Malaysia and Brunei explained.

“I’m in awe of how Starbucks keeps on growing and connecting with Malaysians throughout the years. I love working with brands that make an impact on society and you can see that in Starbucks from even the smiles on their baristas’ faces every day. I hope this is the beginning of a lot of projects together,” Vivy Yusof, co-founder and chief creative officer of The dUCk Group added. DUCk also previously tied up with Baskin Robbins to produces scarves, body butter and body scrubs.

Separately, dUCk previously launched the Merdeka dUCk collection which showcases the culture and tradition of Malaysia. To showcase the story behind each individual piece of the collection, dUCk is hosting a mini art gallery at its flagship store in Bangsar Village until 26 August, to bring an interactive experience to its customers.

The company's Merdeka collection represented Malaysia's 13 states and federal territories and was designed in collaboration with local artists from professional mural company Art Battalion, and a premium knit range of ready-to-wear.
