1. MTI names communications partners for Singapore's ASEAN Chairmanship 2027

The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) has appointed GOVT VCCP and We. Communications to lead communications for Singapore's "ASEAN Chairmanship 2027" campaign, with the agencies tasked to support the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) workstream.
The appointment follows a competitive pitch process, with GOVT VCCP and We. Communications engaged as a consortium for the communications mandate.

2. UNIQLO rides into National Day with LTA collab

UNIQLO is celebrating Singapore's 61st National Day with a new collaboration with the Land Transport Authority (LTA), turning MRT neighbourhoods into wearable art through a UTme! collection. The initiative forms part of a wider SG61 campaign featuring exclusive collections, enhanced omnichannel shopping experiences and a month-long Marina Bay Sands pop-up.
As part of the collaboration, the retailer has unveiled a UTme! collection inspired by Singapore's neighbourhoods, featuring exclusive illustrations by local artist Jon Tan.

3. Is this the end of the Korean wave?

K-culture is no longer just creating fans. It is reshaping how brands market Korean products globally, according to a new report by Assembly.
Titled "Beyond the wave: From K-culture phenomenon to global market dominance", the report argues that the "Korean wave" has evolved into a new "K-lifestyle" era, where Korean entertainment is increasingly acting as a gateway to consumer adoption across categories including beauty, food, fashion and home products.
