Dentsu Singapore ropes back in former ECD

Dentsu Singapore has reappointed Tony Ray Pereira from Dentsu Indonesia as executive creative director (ECD). Pereira was already previously holding the ECD position from 2003 to 2010 before heading to Jakarta in a senior advisory role. He has also worked in agencies such as Leo Burnett, Euro RSCG and McCann Erickson. He will be reporting directly to president and CEO Anthony Kang.

Kosmopolito Hotels hires industry veteran

Kosmopolito Hotels International has appointed Frankie Lam as director of sales and marketing for its Dorsett Regency Singapore which is scheduled to open at the end of 2012. Lam has worked with renowned international hotels in Singapore, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Bangkok and held senior positions at The Westin Stamford & Westin Plaza Singapore, Shangri-La Hotel Bangkok, River View Hotel Singapore among others. Lam will handle the hotel’s pre-opening marketing strategies including planning, budgeting and positioning of Kosmopolito Hotels International’s first hotel in Singapore.

Suntec Singapore appoints CEO

Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Services has hired Arun Madhok as CEO. Madhok was previously the acting CEO since the former CEO stepped down in June this year. He has been with Suntec Singapore since 2009 as director, business development, leading the modernisation and revamp of Suntec Singapore. Prior to joining Suntec Singapore, Madhok garnered experience from working in industries such as airlines and computing.

Brother International appoints Hoffman

Printing and digital imaging technologies, Brother International Singapore has appointed The Hoffman Agency its PR agency of record. The agency will be providing strategic counsel, media relations and product awareness as part of the retainer remit in Singapore. Brother International Singapore is the regional headquarters for Southeast Asia and has offices in Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.
