Scott Spirit, chief digital officer at WPP is no longer with the company, a WPP spokesperson has confirmed.
Spirit, who has been with WPP for over 15 years, was based in Singapore and held the chief digital officer role for over three years. According to his LinkedIn, his role was an extension of chief strategy officer role, which he held for over seven years, to cover digital strategy, coordination of digital resources for clients, investments, oversight of partner relations and the continued success of Stream and other events.
As chief strategy officer, he was responsible for global corporate strategy at WPP in areas such as geography/markets, disciplines, M&A and Investments, country management, global client coordination and business development.
