Carsome floods the streets of Indonesia with yellow riders

Carsome Indonesia has launched a new campaign CARSOME x Eric Cantona in Ind​onesia. As part of the campaign, motorbike riders will be dressed in Carsome Indonesia's yellow brand colour to maximise reach to pedestrians. Carsome did not share the cost associated with the campaign. 

The main objective was to drive awareness and reach for the #CantonaCertified way of selling and buying cars to the Indonesian market. The campaign is in line with Carsome’s unyielding efforts in elevating the car ownership experience and emerging as the trusted platform for buying or selling a car and delivering trust, transparency and choice to customers. The campaign also aims to highlight Carsome’s sales programme and Carsome Certified cars to untapped offline consumers.

Ravi Shankar Mallavarapu, Carsome, chief marketing officer said,"As part of the hyper localisation strategy of the group-wide CARSOME x Cantona campaign in Indonesia, we want to tap into the Indonesians' way of life through the Gojek convoy activation.

The campaign was developed and executed by the internal marketing team in Carsome and will be rolled out in markets the brand has a presence in the near future. 

Mallavarpu said that with the saturation in products and services being offered out there, brands need to constantly innovate when it comes to customer engagement, acquire new customers and retain existing ones. Its strategy has always been heavy on utilising a mix of online and offline media, with a focus on owned media as well as innovative content in collaboration with content creators. 

"We are excited to explore various marketing innovations and channels that are hyperlocalized to reach out to wider audiences and revolutionize the used car ecosystem within the SEA region. Ultimately, we aim to build brand recognition and brand salience in the countries, so stay tuned for more exciting engagements from Carsome", Mallavarapu added.
