Riot Games has named Jennifer Poulson (pictured), senior vice president, marketing Asia at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Asia, its head of growth and launch for Southeast Asia.
According to her LinkedIn, Poulson oversees growth and launch strategies for Southeast Asia and Taiwan and is based in Los Angeles. During her time at BANDAI NAMCO, Poulson led regional marketing, publishing, digital sales and eSports efforts for the interactive entertainment publisher for close to three years. She also oversaw the digital team focusing on growing sales on PlayStation, Xbox Live and PC Digital/Steam.
Poulson was also involved in BANDAI NAMCO's first regional campaign launched late last year together with VMLY&R Singapore, which featured an interactive video asking consumers who they want to become through the power of video games. BANDAI NAMCO owns video games and entertainment content including PAC-MAN, TEKKEN, ACE COMBAT and DARK SOULS.
She also has experience on the agency side, having worked at H+K, Ogilvy and Edelman for approximately 10 years in total, according to her LinkedIn.
Marketing has reached out to BANDAI NAMCO for comment. Riot Games declined to comment on Marketing's queries.
Earlier this year, Mindshare APAC’s former head of innovation, James Lewin, joined Riot Games as head of strategic partnerships, eSports, Southeast Asia. He was previously with the GroupM family for approximately nine years.
