AIA Philippines has launched FutureProofing with AIA, a new podcast series designed to make investment and financial planning conversations more accessible to Filipinos.
The flagship podcast debuts with a four-episode series focused on investing, which AIA Philippines describes as the first podcast dedicated to investing launched by an insurance company in the Philippines. The series is now available on Spotify and YouTube.
The podcast brings AIA Philippines’ investment experts into conversations around questions faced by investors at different stages of their financial journeys, including whether to start, top up or remain invested in a variable unit-linked (VUL) insurance plan, as well as opportunities beyond the Philippine market.

The series also explores how investors can balance investment growth with financial protection, with the aim of helping both current and aspiring investors better understand their options and make informed financial decisions.
"Through FutureProofing with AIA, we want to make investment conversations more approachable and relevant, giving people the confidence to take action and make informed decisions. By combining expert insights with practical guidance, we're helping Filipinos future-proof their finances, grow their wealth with greater confidence, and protect what matters most at every stage of their journey," said Katherine Wong, interim chief marketing officer, AIA Philippines.
The four-episode pilot features Ramon Domingo, investments consultant at AIA Philippines, and Mika Uichanco, investments principal at AIA Philippines.
One episode, titled "How to grow your investments wisely and secure your finances", looks at considerations around expanding an investment portfolio while maintaining financial protection.
"When it comes to investing, many people find it challenging because of the wide range of options available. I would think people have heard about stocks and bonds. But the question is, which of those is the right choice for them, and how can they get started?" said Domingo.
Uichanco also highlights the potential role of global diversification for investors whose portfolios are concentrated in the Philippines.
"If we only invest in the Philippines, we might lose out on growth stories abroad. By investing globally, you will be able to mitigate that. While it does not guarantee gains, it may help lessen potential losses through broader market exposure," she said.
The remaining episodes expand the conversation to investing across global markets, balancing growth, income and protection, and navigating investment opportunities while protecting personal finances. The series also features AIA’s Global Adventurous Income Fund and Peso/Dollar Advantage Max.
AIA Philippines plans to expand FutureProofing with AIA beyond the initial investment series, with future episodes set to cover financial literacy, insurance, financial planning, wealth management and other aspects of financial wellness.
The insurer will also repurpose insights from the podcast into shorter-form content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts. These pieces will highlight selected takeaways and practical perspectives from each conversation in formats designed for shorter digital consumption.
The podcast and related content will also be distributed through AIA Philippines’ digital platforms as the company continues to build out the FutureProofing with AIA series.
From AI-powered marketing and the friction economy to retention-led growth, DMA Philippines 2026 on 29 September in Manila will bring together marketers to tackle the opportunities and challenges shaping the next phase of digital transformation.
