It is no doubt that Ramadan celebrations this year will be different as Indonesians are advised to stay home and avoid visiting. Amid the sombre mood missing out on family time, XL Axiata launched a campaign called #BanyaaaaakKebaikan (DoMoreGoodness) to deliver a more uplifting message during this time.

XL Axiata rearranged a legendary Ramadan song titled Selamat Hari Lebaran, and changed the lyrics into tips and tricks on celebrating Ramadan differently. This includes virtual bukber (iftar gathering), ordering restaurant dishes online, visiting relatives via video call and continue traditions. According to XL Axiata, the campaign aims to also promote how digital lifestyle can help to cope with the current limitations.

Done in partnership with Flock Creative Network, both parties aim to ensure Indonesians are inspired to share goodness despite the current limitations and challenges.

Fajar Arieyanti, head mass segment marketing communications of XL Axiata said through the spot, people can see the brighter side of the story and feel inspired to reinvent the way Ramadan is celebrated. “No one is prepared for a Ramadan like this, but with the help of technology, we believe that we can reinvent Ramadan’s tradition, and make it more meaningful. This is the best time than ever to share kindness and we can all together use the technology in our hand through internet connection to make that possible," she added.
