Xiklab Digital, a creative digital marketing agency based in the Philippines, has launched its operations in Singapore and Myanmar as part of its expansion into Southeast Asia.

The agency said in a press release that it plans to invest "more aggressively" in its Singapore operations. It currently works with several Singapore-based brands such as Ricola International and Parkway Hospitals, as well as partner agencies who outsource content production, social media management, and other services to Xiklab Digital's Philippine hub.

Xiklab Digital also established "Hello Xiklab Yangon" in Myanmar, as a joint venture with conglomerate Myanmar Golden Star Group. Hello Xiklab Yangon's digital marketing services will be launched under Xiklab Digital's brand, and aims to provide a "complete range of services" for the companies under Myanmar Golden Star Group, according to Bingo Soriano, Xiklab Digital's CEO international.

Xiklab Digital was formed following the merger of two other Philippine-based agencies, namely Snapworx Digital, which was established in 2007, and Mobext which was established in 2012. Mobext was also formerly a joint venture with Havas. The agency has 17 years of experience and worked with brands such as Acer, CIMB bank, Mcdonald's, Red Bull, Starbucks, and Under Amour.

Arthur Policarpio, co-founder and group CEO of Xiklab Digital, said its goal is to establish the agency as "one of the best" in Southeast Asia, citing its competitive advantage of its digital talent pool (with over 100 digital talents) based in Philippines.

"Aside from the cost advantages offered by the competitive labor costs in the country, the Philippines is a relatively sophisticated digital and social market in Southeast Asia, thus giving our digital talent extensive experience and expertise that can be exported to the rest of the region," he added.
