Wunderman's Mommejat moves to FleishmanHillard

Wunderman veteran Michel Mommejat has left the agency for a role at FleishmanHillard. Mommejat's new role at the latter is regional managing director of digital engagement initiatives for Asia Pacific.He reports to Lynne Anne Davis, Asia Pacific president and will be based in Singapore.Among his responsibilities at FleishmanHillard, Mommejat will also drive the agency's newly launched content marketing offering in Asia, as regional innovation lead for FH ContentWorks.The agency announced the unit earlier this month, stating its goal of making it the "largest and most effective content marketing agency in the world".FH ContentWorks offers clients its content shops, newsrooms, partners and tools in more than 100 markets and is made up of integrated content studios throughout its network. In Asia Pacific, these studios are in motion across Singapore, Beijing, Hong Kong and Tokyo, with more to follow, said the company.“Michel brings the ideal combination of innovation excellence, global brand management mastery, and a collaborative spirit that will make him extremely busy and successful at FleishmanHillard,” said Davis. “He will play an active role in shaping FleishmanHillard as the agency of the future in Asia by connecting brands and people with a global data-driven insights approach to content creation, social engagement, commerce, measurement and optimization.Mommejat previously held leadership roles for TBWA's Tequila Paris, London and Tokyo. He helped establish the Japan operations for Tequila as well as shopper marketing specialty firm Integer Group. Since then, he held regional responsibilities at Wunderman and, mostly recently, AdPeople Worldwide.Mommejat will also work closely with Mickie French in her role as FleishmanHillard regional managing director of strategic integration and planning. French is also based in Singapore. The agency is looking to expand its digital and social media center in Asia as well, it added.
