WPP names Christina Peyton APAC VP of marketing and growth

WPP has appointed Christina Peyton (pictured) as APAC VP of marketing and growth. In this newly-created role, Peyton will report to Laurent Ezekiel, chief marketing and growth officer.

Peyton was previously the head of marketing and PR at Publicis Groupe’s Digitas for four years. According to her LinkedIn, she was responsible for raising the profile and increasing share of voice for Digitas across the APAC region through the development and execution of regional PR strategy.

Prior to that, she was a freelance project manager with the consultancy, The Observatory International, which has since shut its operations in Singapore. At The Observatory International, Peyton worked with the founding partners to develop senior marketer and procurement education materials on understanding agency relationships among others.

Besides marketing communication and digital experiences, Peyton has also managed and consulted on over 100 global and regional pitches for companies while working in various consultancies. In 2012, Peyton was a partnership director at educational consultancy Hyper Island, where she worked with brands and agencies globally to deliver bespoke digital change management and leadership training. Focused on managing and building long-term business partnerships, she was involved in the expanding Hyper Island's client base.
