WPP acquires SET Creative

WPP has acquired a majority stake in brand experience agency SET Management (SET Creative), growing its branding and identity group.Based in Portland, Oregon with offices in New York and Los Angeles, SET’s suite of services include strategy, creative, digital and design.To strengthen its capability in live events and expand its offer into Europe, the SET recently acquired Flourish, a live experience agency based in London. Flourish will be renamed SET Live, concentrating on events, exhibitions and environments. Its US offices will continue to operate under the SET brand name.SET was founded by Sabina Teshler. Teshler and SET’s management team, including president and chief strategy officer Alasdair Lloyd-Jones and COO Kurt Kujovich, will report to Bolton, co-leader of WPP’s branding and identity division.Simon Bolton, group CEO of WPP's branding and identity agencies, FITCH and Brand Union, will oversee SET and SET Live.Bolton said: “SET creates world class physical and digital brand experiences, making it an ideal partner to Brand Union and FITCH.”Sabina Teshler, founder of SET: “We believe in pushing boundaries at SET.
