The West Coast Eagles have signed a four-year partnership with Allianz Australia, which will support the club’s AFL, AFLW and Wheelchair football teams as a Platinum Partner.
The agreement marks the insurer’s first major sporting partnership in Western Australia said it is part of a commitment to strengthen its community programs nationwide.
West Coast Eagles CEO Don Pyke said the partnership aligns with the club’s values and community focus. “Allianz Australia has a proven track record of resilience and performance, and an outstanding community focus which aligns with our club’s values and identity,” he said. “Allianz Australia’s support will enhance our AFL, AFLW and Wheelchair football programs while contributing to our broader community initiatives.”
Allianz branding will appear on the neckline of the Eagles’ AFL guernseys, training apparel, media backdrops and in-game signage at Optus Stadium. The insurer will also become shorts partner of the club’s AFLW side from 2026 and a major partner of the Wheelchair team.
The partnership will launch with a joint community initiative supporting Foodbank WA’s Give a Feed appeal, which provides Christmas food hampers to Western Australian families in need. Allianz will sponsor 1,000 hampers while Eagles players and staff will volunteer to help deliver them before Christmas.
“Allianz has a long history of supporting sport and promoting the power of sport in uniting communities,” managing director Richard Feledy said. “We’re excited to fly higher together with the West Coast Eagles and to provide our fans and customers with opportunities to cheer on the team like never before.”
The partnership follows a strong year of ratings and commercial for AFL. Seven’s 2025 AFL Grand Final broadcast drew a record combined reach of 6.1 million viewers across broadcast and BVOD, highlighting the code’s dominance across platforms. In August, Polestar became the first dedicated automotive partner in the AFLW through its landmark deal with the Melbourne Football Club.
