



Wavemaker elevates GM Dwaraknath Naidu to chief growth officer

Wavemaker Indonesia has appointed GM Dwaraknath Naidu to the new role of chief growth officer, effective 1 January 2021, working closely with client teams. Naidu will be responsible for driving the agency's growth through new business acquisition and build new products, revenue streams and build future ready client teams who can adapt, accelerate and help transform client businesses.
Naidu has worked with GroupM for 14 years across India and Indonesia in various capacities, and according to Wavemaker, he has been "a key contributor to drive new business initiatives" for Wavemaker and MEC (prior to its merger with Maxus). The agency added that Naidu was also instrumental in successfully growing the business multi-fold in the last six years in Indonesia.
Naidu said it is a challenging yet exciting time to be in Indonesia given the unprecedented growth the market. "I thank Wavemaker for this opportunity and eager to provoke growth for our clients and our people," he added.
Amir Suherlan, MD of Wavemaker Indonesia, said Naidu has shown outstanding works and contribution to Wavemaker's growth journey over the past three years. "This new role will give sharper focus for him, in line with company’s ambition to keep growing, for our clients, our people, and our business," he added.
