Volvo Buses Malaysia names Mahadevan Santhanasamy as country manager

Volvo Buses Malaysia has appointed Mahadevan Santhanasamy as country manager, effective 14 Nov 2016.Santhanasamy has been in the automotive industry for the past 12 years and Volvo Malaysia since 2012. His last position with Volvo was a dealer manager handling the northern region operations of Volvo trucks dealerships, according to a statement by Volvo Buses Malaysia.“Volvo Buses is eyeing strong growth and increased market share in the Malaysia bus market, and the addition of Santhanasamy to the Volvo Buses Malaysia team will boost its organisational strength and add to local knowledge and customer connections." said Manish Sahi, head region of Singapore at Volvo Buses.“I am pleased to be part of Volvo Buses Malaysia and I look forward to working with the team to strengthen our customer connections and boost customer satisfaction,” said Santhanasamy.Santhanasamy's appointment comes at a time of general optimism surrounding new infrastructure development in Malaysia that promises to provide a big boost to the bus industry.
