Volkswagen is currently holding a pitch for its two of its car ranges, Marketing understands. The creative pitch covers above the line executions for the brand and strong digital components as well.
The pitch is for the Singapore market and is for a period of two years. A spokesperson from Volkswagen confirmed that this was a closed door pitch where several agencies had been invited to pitch for the account, but declined to comment further on developments.
Sources close to the pitch have told Marketing that agencies vying for the account included Grey, TSLA and DDB. Others invited to pitch for the account but did not take part in the process included Arcade, ManghamGaxiola and The Gang.
The incumbent for the account was The Gang. Meanwhile Tribal DDB handles the brand’s digital duties.
