
VMLY&R partners with Shanghai-based tech firm Loncus

Global brand and customer experience agency VMLY&R has partnered up with Shanghai-based technology firm Loncus Network Technology Company, for the creation of a new technology hub to support the agency’s growing experience & technology work with global and regional clients.
The new technology development centre opened in July 2022 and is already servicing the agency’s network clients across the Asia-Pacific region, including Caltex, Ford and LeonCycle. Based in Nanjing, China, the new hub will allow Loncus to ramp up its services, offering through positions spanning CX development, maintenance, and publishing to further support clients.
In a conversation with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, Camellia Tan, chief network officer, Asia of VMLY&R said that VMLY&R will bring network clients and business development muscle to this partnership, "The work we have been delivering for shared clients over the past few years has also advanced our capabilities together – which is why we are coming together to scale," Tan added. She also said that the Nanjing set up or the partnership gives VMLY&R access to quality, lower cost base operations and a talent pool which will deliver value for clients across the region and the globe.
VMLY&R has worked closely with Loncus for several years and, via the new hub, aims to take delivery power and scale to new heights while offering services and solutions to clients in China and across the world.
