Vimeo user, Paul Wex, travelled the world in 2:25 minutes, in high-definition 3D.After the recent rebranded Nokia Maps 3D, which has yet to grab the spotlight compared to the popularity of Google Maps, the notion of putting all the satellite images into one video has begun sprouting in Wex’s mind.When he finally got the technology needed to pull a stunt like this, Wide Web World was born: a clip that reveals sweeping birds’ eye views from all around the globe – from the skyscrapers of New York to The Gherkin in London, the world is, literally, on your fingertips.
