VICE appoints Joanna Jones as APAC head of client services

VICE has announced the appointment of Joanna Jones as head of client services for Asia-Pacific. Driving VICE’s commercial account and project management, Jones will be working alongside VIRTUE managing director Aaron Pearce and head of sales and partnerships Serene Lee. Having most recently served at Edelman as regional media operations director, performance, APAC, Jones has amassed a strong record of experience over 13 years. In addition to fulfilling roles at Publicis, Group M, and Omnicom, she has worked with massive brands such as P&G, Honda, and (both in Singapore and London) Virgin. Jones said, "I'm thrilled to be joining such a dynamic and energetic team, and to be part of both VICE and VIRTUE. Being so close to the cultural heartbeat of Asia whilst working with VICE’s strong client base is incredibly exciting. I'm looking forward to driving client servicing excellence and contributing to the continued growth of the business.” Her new team has already built relationships with an impressive swathe of major brands, including; AB InBev, Unilever, Amazon Prime, Uber, Nike, Asics, Adidas, New Balance, Chanel, Google, Mountain Dew, AirAsia, Air New Zealand, Durex, Schweppes, Absolut, Levi’s, BMW, Nissan, Airbnb, Beats by Dre, PUMA, and Jameson.
