Unilever takes home Best in Show at Mob-Ex Awards 2021

The ninth annual Mob-Ex Awards, the region’s premier programme for mobile marketing excellence, cast a spotlight on a new title-holder - Unilever. Beating out some impressive competition, Unilever claimed its spot by impressing the jury and taking home four Gold, one Silver and four Bronze trophies.

Unilever's Lifebuoy brand earned four Gold, one Silver and one Bronze, for categories including “Best COVID-19 Response, Best Direct to Consumer Campaign, Best Insights-Drive Mobile Campaign, and Best Location-Based Marketing, among others. The FMCG leader also bagged trophies for the campaigns "Pepsodent: Bringing Offline Dental Care to Users on Mobile", "Cooking Up a Winning Storm with RoycoJuaraNutriMenu Mobile Campaign" and "Closeup Goes #AllinAllOut for #AllAroundOralCare".

DBS Bank was this year’s runner-up with two Gold, five Silver and three Bronze. The bank almost managed to retain its title again from 2020, as it impressed judges with its creative campaigns "DBS PayLah!" and "POSB #HuntYourZodiac 2021".

Other brands that also demonstrated marketing excellence included Grab, Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, HSBC Singapore, L'Oreal, Pants Bear, The Coca-Cola Company, and among others. Make sure to check out the full list of winners here!

On the agency front, Mindshare, InMobi had an amazing feat, winning four Gold, one Silver and two Bronze for their client, Unilever, Unilever Indonesia and Unilever Philippines. Other strong agency showings included ADA, AdColony, BBDO Singapore, Industria, Kingdom Digital, RED² Digital and Starcom Indonesia.
