U Mobile's Jasmine Lee has taken on the new role of CDO at the telco after eight years as CMO.  In her eight years as CMO, her strategic leadership enabled U Mobile to roll out appealing, innovative products and services that disrupted industry norms, launch a financial services ecosystem as well as expand the connectivity business to include fibre, said U Mobile.

As CDO, Lee (pictured) is responsible for building and exploring new opportunities in the digital space, creating new digital experiences as well as data-driven solutions that would benefit customers. To ensure a cohesive, end-to-end digital experience for our customers, Lee also oversees all customer digital channels including web, eCommerce, and also the company’s app.

With more than 10 years of experience under her belt, Lee specialises in new media marketing, mobile marketing, social media marketing, and customer relationship marketing, among others, said her LinkedIn. A+M has reached out to U Mobile for additional information regarding her new role.

Prior to joining U Mobile, Lee spent close to three years in AirAsia. She first joined AirAsia in January 2010 as its head of commercial. She helmed that position for more than a year before taking on the role of commercial director.

No stranger to the telecommunications industry, Lee also held various roles such as senior manager of corporate branding, relationship marketing manager, and Internet and mobile manager at DiGi.  At the same time, she was also CEO at MNC Wireless for more than seven years. During her time there, Lee was responsible for the overall business development and management, digital marketing, and media business.
