Y&R Singapore has appointed Troy Lim as executive creative director (ECD), to work together with recently-appointed CEO Shirley Tay. Lim left Publicis Singapore earlier this year, where he was also an executive creative director.
Lim was in his various capacity in the creative field been the creative lead for clients such as Audi, Scoot, Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (SG50), National Environment Agency and Singapore Health Promotion Board. According to the press statement, Lim also sits on the advisory board of Singapore Polytechnic’s School of Communications and is a supporter of creative talent and continual learning.
Lim was last at Publicis for one and a half years. Prior to the role, he was last with Ogilvy. He has also worked with BBDO, Lowe Singapore and Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore.
Lim said, “The needs of clients are constantly changing, and I’m most interested in seeing how I can use creativity and the various tools at our disposal – such as AI, design and technology – to come up with innovative solutions to our clients’ problems.”
