Allison has appointed Kelvyn Foo (pictured) as general manager of its Singapore office. In his new role, Foo will lead the Singapore team’s operations and growth agenda, with a focus on strengthening regional and global client partnerships and helping brands navigate an increasingly complex communications landscape.
Foo steps into the role with nearly 20 years of experience in public relations and brand communications, spanning the consumer, lifestyle and corporate sectors. He joined the Stagwell agency from Omnicom Public Relations Group (OPRG) Singapore where he held the role of senior vice president, head of growth and marketing.
Prior to his time at OPRG, Foo served an 11-year stint at Porter Novelli, first joining as an account director in 2014 and exiting the agency as its vice president in 2018.

Foo’s appointment comes amid a strong period of momentum for Allison in Singapore, as clients look to communications partners for sharper foresight and faster, integrated solutions. In conversation with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, Jeremy Seow, APAC COO and head of CX at Allison said that the agency is helping clients lead through change "with sharper foresight and more decisive action."
"That means blending culturally fluent storytelling, integrated creativity, and generative AI to deliver faster, more effective communications. We’re also investing in advisory skills, issues planning, and data-led strategy to future-proof our teams and clients," explained Seow.
Growth has been strongest in areas where transformation intersects with credibility, Seow added. “Clients undergoing change, whether digital, structural or reputational, are turning to us for guidance. We’re winning work that spans PR, content, internal engagement and innovation storytelling, often across markets.”
In addition, Foo said that clients in Singapore increasingly expect their communications partners to move beyond reactive work and bring a strategic edge to the table.
“Clients here want partners who are proactive, not reactive – who bring strategic clarity and anticipate what’s next, not just respond to what’s now. There’s growing demand for data-informed counsel and earned-first ideas. Integration, agility, and measurable impact are now baseline expectations," Foo told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE.
Allison’s current client portfolio in Singapore includes organisations in tech, mobility, healthcare and travel, with many navigating complex stakeholder ecosystems and fast-moving reputational challenges.
Looking ahead, Seow noted that the agency will continue to help clients manage the ethical, reputational and operational implications of AI and automation. “One of the most pressing challenges is futureproofing the role of people in communications. At Allison, we’re committed to helping clients stay ahead of the curve, not just reacting to change but anticipating it," said Seow.
"That means embracing innovation in a way that enhances human creativity and judgement, rather than replacing them. We’re actively supporting clients through the ethical, reputational and operational questions that come with emerging tech, so they can lead with confidence and foresight in a fast-changing landscape," he added.
Foo’s appointment is part of Allison’s broader plan to build out its advisory capabilities, integrated storytelling and innovation offerings in Singapore and beyond, as it positions itself for sustained growth in Southeast Asia.
The Stagwell Group is seeing strong leaders step up across the region in recent months. In addition to Foo’s appointment at Allison, global omnichannel media agency Assembly has named Sharon Soh as managing director for Southeast Asia, effective immediately.
Based in Singapore and reporting to APAC CEO Richard Brosgill, Soh will accelerate Assembly’s growth and regional momentum, with a sharper focus on client success across Southeast Asia. Her appointment reinforces the agency’s leadership across Greater China, North Asia and Southeast Asia, and advances its commitment to delivering world-class brand performance across creative, media and commerce in APAC.
