TripAdvisor partners ANA to drive inbound travel to Japan

TripAdvisor has partnered with All Nippon Airways (ANA) to launch a global online campaign and drive inbound travel to Japan.The campaign utilises trending data by TripAdvisor in 14 countries and aims to raise traveler interest in visiting more of Japan’s regional cities. According to a statement from TripAdvisor this is the first time TripAdvisor’s trending data will be utilised for an online campaign.Designed specifically for ANA, the “Experience Japan” landing page by TripAdvisor enables users in each country to see what other users think are the most popular attractions, hotels and restaurants in the city of their choice. This content changes based on visitor numbers and review counts and can be viewed by what is trending within the time frames of 24 hours, seven days or 30 days.The “Experience Japan” campaign will run from 1 September 2015 until 31 March 2016 and will be available to TripAdvisor users in 14 countries, including United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines.Ryoichi Yoshida, vice president, market communication, marketing, ANA said “This campaign is very special – there is so much that Japan has to offer beyond the usual key cities and we are excited to be able to reach out to travelers through TripAdvisor to help them plan their perfect trip.”
