On-demand delivery platform Lalamove has topped YouGov’s biggest brand mover list in Hong Kong for January 2024. The platform made gains in seven out of 13 YouGov BrandIndex metrics in terms of aided brand awareness and generating buzz, as well as brand perception.

This is demonstrated by the brand's effort to tell good stories via branding campaigns. In October 2023, Lalamove Hong Kong joined hands with local NGO Home of Homeless Dogs to introduce a pet adoption event to give strays a chance to seek new homes. This came as part of Lalamove’s “Make a Pawfect Move” campaign that aimed to encourage Lalamove users in Asia and Latin America to spread their love for pets in need.

American fashion brand Michael Kors takes the third place, seeing improvements in six metrics across the three categories, including ad awareness and buzz; corporate reputation and customer satisfaction

Meanwhile, lifestyle brands Nike and Zara take the fourth and fifth spots respectively, each scoring upticks in five out of the 13 metrics.

Taking the sixth place is the restaurant chain Saizeriya, making gains in five metrics across media and communication, purchase funnel and brand perception categories, while online retail platform Neigbuy.com demonstrated growth in five out of the 13 metrics.

Rounding off the list is Hang Seng Bank, Chanel and Tmall, showing improvements in four metrics respectively.

The APAC biggest brand movers list highlights the ten brands that have registered the most statistically significant month-on-month upticks in consumer perception metrics across a selection of APAC markets, including Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand.

These rankings identify the brands which have logged the greatest number of improvements across 13 metrics each month – ranging from aided brand awareness and corporate reputation, to purchase consideration and customer satisfaction.

The data is taken from YouGov BrandIndex, a syndicated brand tracker which continuously collects data on thousands of brands around the globe every day.
