The demand for remote working spaces is on the rise as businesses are looking to decentralise their workforce. To help businesses accommodate the changing needs of this trend, theDesk and Flow have announced a partnership to roll out the flexible workspace solution theDeskFLEX.

The latest addition is a credit-based subscription workspace solution, which allows employees of a company to access to theDesk’s workspaces and meeting facilities on-demand. Powered by Flow’s technology, businesses can now easily customise their own flexible workspace arrangement in the digital portal, using a prepaid credit model as well as evaluating the effectiveness by accessing relevant usage data.

For employees, they can select and book their preferred workspace and meeting facilities most convenient to them anytime on the mobile app.

“The pandemic has redefined traditional workspaces, while decentralisation and remote working are inevitable in the future. Corporates have to be more lean and agile than ever before in a bid to adapt to the ever-changing business environment,” said Thomas Hui, CEO and co-founder of theDesk.

Eric Lai, director of operations and co-founder of Flow, also commented, "Flexible use of space is what we believe in and is also the fundamental essence of the establishment of Flow. During the era of the gig economy, we see high demand from slashes and freelancers for flexible workspace and meeting room facilities."

"With our technology infrastructure, we strive to provide a hassle-free user experience throughout their customer journey, from search, booking to using," added Lai.
