The Body Shop Singapore has appointed Word Of Mouth Communications (WOM) as its retainer PR agency for another 24 months for the Singapore market. WOM has been handling the PR for The Body Shop since 2015. The appointment comes after a call for tender in March 2017.
WOM is already working on upcoming new product launches. In a statement to Marketing, The Body Shop said that the agency was chosen based on its “expertise in beauty, wellness and lifestyle; the servicing team’s commitment and passion as well as a strong understanding of the brand helped sealed the partnership.”
“The Body Shop is happy to continue our partnership with WOM as the agency has the right expertise, is highly-reliable and truly understands our brand to help us achieve our PR and marketing goals,” said Tan Jinli, head of marketing and corporate responsibility, The Body Shop Singapore.
“This appointment is a significant milestone for the agency, in light of our 15th anniversary celebration this year, and we are extremely honoured. Our partnership with The Body Shop has been a very rewarding one and we are committed to continue to help the brand gains an even greater presence in the highly-competitive beauty and wellness industries through our sound strategic, proactive and creative engagements with the media and influencers,” said Jansen Siak, managing director of WOM.
