Telecommunications provider TIME dotCom (TIME) has appointed Dentsu One Malaysia as the lead agency to provide integrated marketing solutions. The agency is tasked with developing TIME’s ad campaigns for both traditional and digital media.
Additionally, Dentsu One also oversees TIME’s digital media strategies and planning through a collaboration with Vizeum Malaysia. Work is currently underway for TIME, which has businesses spanning domestic fixed line, data centres and global networks.
A+M understands a pitch was first called late last year and concluded in the first quarter of 2018. Also, TIME worked with several different partners previously on a project basis. As such, there had not been an incumbent in recent times.
“We’re pleased to be working with Dentsu One, who has demonstrated a good understanding of our brand in its holistic proposal,” Angelia Ooi, head of marketing and experience, TIME, said.
“The team placed a lot of emphasis on getting insights on audience segment and presented a clear brand analysis for TIME. It’s encouraging to see that we’re aligned in many ways, including agreeing on the importance of focusing on people-based marketing,” Michelle Ong, CEO, Dentsu One Malaysia, said.
She added that the agency has demonstrated that by operating under one roof, where creative and media work hand-in-hand, it is able to deliver innovative and integrated marketing solutions to its clients. “An important win indeed for Dentsu One and Vizeum as we push further ahead with our collaboration agenda as one integrated Dentsu Aegis Network,” she said.
