Former promotions and advertising officer at Harbour City, Season Chan, has joined TBWA as head of social media.
From next Monday (5 August), she replaces current head of social for TBWA Jocelyn Liipfert who relocated to London.
Chan will take on the agency’s Social Media Arts (SmArts) content strategy as well as community management.
She reports to Luke Eid, managing partner of TBWADAN, who said her recruitment is a part of the agency’s organic growth.
“It’s a natural organic growth for us; we have been applying social to everything as per our clients’ needs,” he said.
During her two years at Harbour City, Chan was in charge of managing Harbout City’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts, its website, eDM’s events and exhibitions and press.
Prior to Harbour City, Chan worked in Billabong and online magazine, Hypebeast.
