Starcom names Arthur Sung’s replacement

Following the departure of Arthur Sung, Starcom MediaVest Group’s Singapore managing director late last year, the company has announced its replacement.

Replacing him is Patricia Goh (pictured), assuming the general manager position. Goh has been with the agency since 2008 and was last executive director of Starcom MediaVest Group. Goh will report to Ranga Somanathan, chief operating officer, SEA in the agency.

Sung left to pursue a second career out of the media and advertising industry. He was in the managing director role for two years, and prior to that he was general manager for Starcom MediaVest Group for over seven years.

“Arthur’s commitment to the cause and conscientious application are a throw back to an era when the industry was always about making a difference. He saw the agency in Singapore through a critical financial position, leading it through periods of uncertainty and tumultuous business growth,” Jeffrey Seah, SMG CEO SEA said.
