To promote Standard Chartered’s new Unlimited Cashback Credit Card, the bank worked with TBWASingapore created the “Unlimited Joy” campaign. The campaign consists of a 45-second film, along with out-of-home, digital and print activations. The campaign will run for three months.
The objective of the campaign is to portray Standard Chartered’s cashback credit card as the most desirable in Singapore, with its benefits being communicated through the use of a pinball machine. It also aims to outline the key differences from competitors’ cards, namely unlimited cashback and no minimum spend.
To showcase this, the film features a classic pinball machine with miniature mechanical dioramas, which come alive when the ball bounces through a “journey”. The result is a reveal of the cashback amount for each category, along with features of the new credit card. Watch it here:
Since the posting of the video on Facebook, the spot has garnered over 77,000 views, 402 reactions and 295 shares at the time of writing.
“With unlimited cashback on travel, dining and shopping spends, there are endless ways people can add fun and excitement to their lives. The pinball was a perfect way to portray the card’s benefits, as the ball bounces energetically off the machine’s features, rapidly clocking up limitless cashback points,” John Sheterline, creative director at TBWASingapore, said.
