Spin Communications has hired award-winning Malay writer Faridah Sulaiman (pictured) as creative group head, head of Malay copy.
Prior to Spin, Faridah was head of copy (Malay Division) at Naga DDB and, most recently, Publicis Malaysia.
She has more than 20 years experience across categories, and has worked on numerous campaigns that reached out to the Malay market for major clients including Nestle, Citibank, DiGi, Perodua, Johnson & Johnson, Prudential, Maybank, Bank Bumiputra and Takaful Malaysia.
“Faridah’s experience coupled with her understanding of the Malay market would help us create imaginative and relevant stories for the biggest population in Malaysia to share. We are excited to have her on board to create Kongsiness, which essentially is all about creating brand stories that get shared and talked about,” said Chit Quah, managing director of Spin.
