SPH names radio DJ Andre Hoeden as content strategist for Kiss92 and ONE FM 91.3

Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) has named radio DJ Andre Hoeden (pictured) as its content strategist for SPH Radio stations Kiss92 and ONE FM 91.3. With this newly created role, SPH aims to develop more effective quality content to meet both advertisers’ and audiences’ needs.

Hoeden said that he enjoys the process of creating new segments, games and campaigns for radio because he feels that he knows the medium best, having presented and produced alongside legends in the industry since 2007. “Clients expect more and we need to deliver ideas that create buzz, excitement and engagement to cut through the clutter. I’m excited to use my experience to develop fun and engaging campaigns for our clients and listeners,” he added.

Hoeden’s 14 years of experience as a radio DJ, coupled with his technical experience of a producer and business background, makes him well-placed to tailor the right mechanics for radio campaigns; in order to maximise engagement with the listeners to achieve advertisers' business goals. SPH declined to comment on MARKETING-INTERACTIVE's queries.

Ignatius Low, CCO of SPH, said that content marketing is now an integral part of any serious marketing campaign, so it is timely that SPH Radio dedicated resources to help clients conceptualise customised campaigns. “Audio is a growing medium thanks to the increasing popularity of podcasts and the enduring appeal of live radio stations. At SPH, marketers can find a solution that marries the strengths of both and justify putting marketing spend in this exciting medium,” he added.
