Singapore Press Holdings’ subsidiary SPH Magazines will acquire luxury website Luxury-Insider.com from WhiteWave Media Group (WWMG), a regional luxury media group.
Luxury-Insider.com was first launched in 2006 by Julian Peh (pictured), CEO of WWMG, as Asia’s first wholly digital luxury publication. Since its launch, it has steadily built on its position in online luxury publishing to expand its reach regionally and establish its current position as one of Asia’s largest websites targeting affluent audiences.
Loh Yew Seng, CEO, SPH Magazines, said: “The acquisition will give us a strong foothold in the online luxury vertical space and complement our existing offerings focusing on IT and women’s interests. Luxury-Insider.com will also serve as a major gateway for our luxury titles to target and engage readers and advertisers across the region.
