SCMP collaborates with The Edge SG to expand readership

The South China Morning Post (SCMP) and business investment weekly The Edge Singapore have collaborated on a new content deal to grow international readership and reach. The partnership entails a content sharing agreement across digital and print platforms on SCMP’s weekly property publication, Property Post and EdgeProp Singapore. The collaboration aims to allow both publications to offer property seekers "robust and actionable" content on the evolving property scene in Singapore and Hong Kong. Both the publications will cover topics such as government efforts in major cities such as Hong Kong and Singapore stemming housing price spikes in the form of higher buyer’s stamp duties on foreigners and short-term investors. In addition, the content in the magazines will also talk about the interplay between real estate investors and markets in China, Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as Southeast Asian property markets such as Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam. Marketing has reached out to SCMP and The Edge Singapore for additional information on the partnership. Bernard Tong, CEO of EdgeProp Singapore said the collaboration between the two companies aims to provide readers and subscribers of SCMP and EdgeProp the opportunity to further enhance their knowledge and make better-informed property decisions outside their home markets. Eugene Tang, SCMP business editor said as the world increasingly looks to Asia as a bellwether of the global economy, The Edge and SCMP combining to uniquely offer in-depth regional expertise comes at "a perfect time". "We are excited to provide deeper insight in the property industry to the globe through this key partnership," he added.
