Singapore Sports Council concludes regional social media pitch

Singapore Sports Council (SSC) has appointed Starcom MediaVest Group's social media arm, SMG Social, as its social media agency for the social media campaign for the 28th Southeast Asian Games.The agency will be tasked to manage strategy planning, research and insight reports of the 11 Southeast Asia countries. The agency will also have to handle content and community management; tracking and monitoring of owned channels and social listening of external conversations amongst other measures.Also vying for the account was CMG Group (Singapore); Havas Media Asia Pacific; Hill & Knowlton (SEA); KRDS Digital; Reading Room And ZenithOptimedia.According to Gebiz, the awarded value is SG$ 722,450.“Our might and strength came from building a fully integrated solution spanning content, asset creation, to community management, and amplification across the markets at a time when the unity of SE Asian countries need a fabric to stay united, ” said Patricia Goh, general manager Starcom MediaVest Group Singapore told Marketing.
