Sime Darby Property has handed Kingdom Digital duties for its digital account from September 2017. The appointment comes after the company concluded a three-way pitch, and it will be for a period of 10 months.
Kingdom Digital will be responsible for the creative ideation and execution of online ad campaigns for a portfolio of Sime Darby Property townships across Klang Valley and Negeri Sembilan. The scope also includes developing display ads and electronic direct mailers for all new property launches, products and seasonal campaigns.
“Agility is so important when managing a diverse digital portfolio so we were looking for an agency that can create and enhance digital creatives and copies within a short turnaround time,” Clare Kenny Tipton (pictured), chief marketing and sales officer at Sime Darby Property, said. Tipton added that the agency will also need to deliver strategic communication consistently to elevate brand presence, drive awareness of township developments, as well as improve overall digital marketing performance.
“We look forward to supporting Sime Darby Property on creating impactful presence in the digital sphere through our expertise of strategy planning and creative execution across multiple platforms,” Ryan Ong, managing partner at Kingdom Digital added.
Last month, Sime Darby Property expanded its marketing team by roping in former general manager and head of marketing at TGV Cinemas Celeste Koay, as its general manager for brand and digital. Koay reports to Tipton and is primarily tasked to revitalise the brand as well as its digital presence.
