Former vice president and head of Shangri-La Circle Alan Lui (pictured) has left to join Moca Network, Animoca Brands' flagship digital identity infrastructure platform for the open internet, as chief marketing officer.
In this newly created role, he will be tasked at leading the global marketing strategy and the expansion of the network's decentralised identity infrastructure.
Furthermore, Lui will focus on scaling the Moca Network identity layer to provide businesses with interoperable loyalty solutions that bridge traditional commercial structures with decentralised identity and user engagement models.
Lui brings over 20 years of experience in architecting global loyalty programmes, notably serving as COO at Asia Miles and vice president at Shangri-La Group where he oversaw the global Shangri-La Circle ecosystem.
He launched and managed co-branded credit cards and banking products in over 10 markets globally. As chief marketing officer, He also launched Fusion Bank, backed by Tencent, providing specialised expertise in scaling neo-banking operations.
In conversation with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, Lui said, "My mission is to architect the next generation user experience with Web2 businesses leveraging latest Web3 technology. I will deploy solutions allowing businesses to seamlessly offer recognition and rewards to their customers anytime, anywhere."
Most recently, Shangri-La Group has invited guests around the world to celebrate the Spring Festival through a captivating series of immersive experiences—both online and in person.
At the heart of these celebrations is the launch of the “88-Night global stay giveaway”, complemented by a creative partnership with contemporary artist Chen Fenwan, known for her intricate paper-cutting art.
