Pizza restaurant chain Shakey’s has named Mobext as its new digital agency of record, following a review of its communications strategy for the next two years.
Working with incumbent creative agency, J. Romero and Associates, Havas’ pure-play mobile marketing agency will be tasked to manage Shakey’s desktop and mobile websites, social media, mobile and online media and other digital assets.
Koi Castillo, Brand Manager for Shakey’s, said that “mobile is a top priority this year due to its ubiquity.”
“Smartphones are becoming a major channel for engagement, and we would like to be a major player in connecting with our loyal customers using an emerging platform. Mobile speaks convenience and Shakey’s aims to be one of the forerunners in providing good times and great memories through the most popular and accessible channel,” she adds.
Shakey’s first worked with Mobext last 2013 after the agency provided a LENS digital marketing audit to the brand and followed by several collaborations on online advertising.
