7-Eleven and American footwear brand Crocs have teamed up to bring their exclusive shoe collection to Hong Kong.

Officially available in Hong Kong this November, the new collaborative collection includes two exclusive styles – the 7-Eleven x Crocs classic clog and 7-Eleven x Crocs classic sandal – in colourways reflecting the iconic red, green and orange branding of 7-Eleven and featuring uniquely 7-Eleven-themed Jibbitz charms including depictions of 7CAFÉ drinks, Slurpees and hot dogs.

As 7-Eleven knows its customers always eye on something fun, exciting and fashionable, the brand decided to step into the fashion world and team up with Crocs to launch the exclusive limited-edition 7-Eleven x Crocs shoe collaboration this November. Consisting of two global brands, the partnership aims to present a fun yet effective way to engage with its wider group of consumers.

Crocs has repositioned itself these past few years to become one of the most fashionable shoes around. Partnering with a roster of fashion brands and celebrities, Crocs are now a must-have fashion essential with limited-edition collaborations regularly selling out rapidly, according to the release.

The thematic collection was first launched across Indonesia, Singapore, and the Philippines. This isn’t Crocs first go at creating unique partnerships. In 2020, the brand partnered up with KFC to unveil a new limited edition clog that is covered in a fried chicken print with a striped base. Each pair of co-branded footwear comes with two charms/accessories at the top, made to resemble and "smell" like fried chicken, the duo said on the Crocs website.

7-Eleven isn’t the first to collaborate with a shoe brand to launch unique collections. Back in August, Heineken has launched a new shoe that allows you to walk on beer. The collaboration follows the launch of Heineken Silver, and sets out to celebrate innovation behind the new beer brewed.

The brand worked with sneaker virtuoso Dominic Ciambrone, also known as ‘The Shoe Surgeon’ to create the shoe called “Heinekicks”. Ciambrone has created custom sneakers for the likes of LeBron James, DJ Khaled and Drake. While there are 32 of these shoes created, seven of them will be made available in Singapore in the fourth quarter of the year.
