Southeast Asian digital agency SearchGuru has partnered with e-commerce specialist Everpeaks to offer solutions, services and expertise to help their clients tap into the growing global e-commerce market.Everpeaks is currently working with eBay, Amazon and local marketplaces, and the partnership will allow both parties to provide full-service management solutions from consultancy to design services, digital marketing, go-to-market strategy and warehouse fulfilment. Following the partnership which covers Southeast Asia, Everpeaks has rebranded itself as Everpeaks x SearchGuru. Their combined expertise provides end-to-end e-commerce solutions for small, medium to enterprise businesses to showcase their brands globally. In a statement to A+M, SearchGuru's founder, Larry Lim, said Everpeaks rebranded to leverage on SearchGuru's established name to prevent confusion when both teams pitch together. It will also differentiate SearchGuru's existing solutions, as Everpeaks x SearchGuru is functions on a purely e-commerce, sales-based KPI and hybrid model of charging retainer and commission on sales.Lim added that the process of converting all brand assets for Everpeaks x SearchGuru was easy because it is still a young company. The rebrand covers markets that the company is present in, including Malaysia and Hong Kong. Currently, both teams will target only local brand owners and aim to serve only five clients a year."Right now, brands are already reaching out to us for e-commerce plans in Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong," Lim told A+M. Both teams will also conduct workshops to create awareness and educate the local brands about cross border e-commerce.Lim added that combining Everpeaks' local and global marketplace expertise with SearchGuru's custom e-commerce platform development, performance marketing and creative solutions, will enable the agency to offer a compelling proposition to help local brands profit from the global e-commerce market.Meanwhile, Joachim Sebastian, managing director of Everpeaks, said, “Many local brands are apprehensive because of the complexities of export e-commerce. But we’ve helped clients like Royal Selangor take the leap with our integrated approach, from market research, strategies, product listing, back-end support, stock management and issue resolution."
