Social media marketing agency, Schmuzter has set up shop in Singapore as it looks to further expand its reach into Asia. Founded in New York and Manila in 2011, Schmuzter offers end-to-end solutions in online and social media marketing.
Schmuzter Singapore has already bagged an account with regional dairy giant, Greenfields Milk, to revamp its Facebook page and microsite. More recently, Schmuzter Singapore signed on 1-Altitude to manage the social media marketing for all three of its nightlife and F&B outlets.
Additionally, Schmuzter will also be working with luxury car brand, Infiniti which is distributed by Wearnes Automotive in Singapore. For Infiniti, the agency is tasked to kick-start the brand’s social marketing efforts targeted at a high-income earning demographic with a discerning taste. The aim is to effectively convey Infiniti’s brand values while interacting and engaging with fans who are active online.”
It will be designing and developing a Facebook microsite along with customised tabs to showcase Infiniti Singapore’s range of luxury car models. It will also aim to offer a social perspective by providing content in a format that will encourage fans to interact with the Infiniti brand on an emotional level.
“Even though Singapore enjoys a social media penetration rate of about 72%, we felt Singapore businesses were not doing enough in terms of reaching out to the savvy Singaporean consumer and engaging them effectively on social media,” Schmuzter founder & director, Lori Villafuerte.
Together with its Singapore partners, Adrian Tan and Johnson Ong, the agency hopes to fill the gap in the market and help Singapore businesses “build meaningful relationships with their customers through a variety of social media channels”
Last year in Manila, the brand has worked with Viber, Visa, Honda, Tic Tac, Kinder Joy, Breadtalk and Jamba Juice, to name a few. Its other retainer clients include Strip and Browhaus, Missha, Basic House and Greenwich Pizza.
