Saggirio wins regional PR mandate for Indonesia's design-led seaside retreat

Jakarta-based communications firm Saggirio Communications has secured a new account with Innit Lombok, an oceanfront hideaway nestled along the untamed coastline of Ekas Bay. The agency will lead public relations strategy and execution for the property across Indonesia, Singapore, and Australia.
The appointment signals an ambition to expand the reach of the boutique resort’s narrative - one built on the principles of restraint, sensitivity to place, and a new kind of Indonesian hospitality that moves at nature’s pace.
“We are thrilled to partner with Innit Lombok; an intimate beachfront sanctuary that exemplifies the best of modern Indonesian hospitality through design and a profound respect for the natural landscape,” said Retta Oktaviani, managing director of Saggirio Communications. “We look forward to telling Innit Lombok’s story and building meaningful visibility across Indonesia, Singapore, and Australia.”

Innit Lombok is not a typical destination resort. It’s a study in minimalism - seven lumbung-inspired beach houses standing quietly between cliffs and sea, designed by some of Indonesia’s most respected architects: Andra Matin, Gregorius Supie Yolodi, and Maria Rosantina.
The villas are open by intent. Air flows freely, as do views across Ekas Bay. Indoors and outdoors trade places. Sand becomes floor, boundaries dissolve, and luxury is redefined - not as excess, but as the freedom to just be. Handmade furniture and raw materials speak to a design ethos that is both local and low-impact.
The resort also houses Anakampung, its culinary heart, led by Chef Matthew Angga. A veteran of Michelin-starred kitchens abroad, Angga now turns his attention to Indonesia’s own terroir. At Anakampung, ingredients are sourced close to home, reimagined with technique but never stripped of identity.
According to its website, Saggirio was founded in 2024 and offers a tailored suite of services to diverse industries, ranging from startups to established corporations. Its clients include Indonesia Convention Exhibition, Trehaus School Jakarta, Bridestory, and Marco’s Chop Shop.
Meanwhile, Innit Lombok was founded by Michal Tyles, who began acquiring land on the island as early as 1998. The first phase of the project - the beach houses - officially opened in early 2023.
